Drainage Solutions

We Specialize in Drainage Solutions Installation in Los Angeles | Orange | Ventura

Every year sinking foundations, cracked and buckled foundation walls, and cracked and uneven floors affect millions of homeowners in southern California. Buildings located on unstable soils will settle when the foundation is subjected to moisture or poor drainage. A shifting foundation could result in structural damage and potentially, a loss of your investment.

If you are experiencing any of these problems:

• Excess water in the foundations & basement walls
• Excess water around plants
• Excess water from driveway enters garage
• Standing water in your lawn or vegetation areas
• Flood basement or crawl space area
• Basement or crawl space mold and mildew
• Mold or moisture damage in the crawl space
• Musty odors in the living area
• Condensation on air conditioning ductwork or equipment
• Condensation on insulation, water pipes
• Buckled hardwood floors
• High humidity in the living area

We provide all types of exterior drainage solution such as french drain, sealing your foundation, pop-up drain, channel drain, round greats drain, catch basin drain, atrium grates drain, different pipe drain, square grates drain and waterproofing to deal with poor drainage and crawl space moisture in the crawl space and foundation area, back yard area, pooling lawns and driveways for residential and commercial properties in Los Angeles, Orange and Ventura Counties.

The installation of proper drainage systems surrounding the structure provides a safeguard against the impact of water accumulation, irrigation and flooding during the rainy season. Soil erosion and shifting can be prevented.

Maintaining proper drainage at the perimeter of your foundation can prevent many ways of foundation damages.

Proper Soil Grading. Grading will help to channel water away from the building. Irrigation sprinklers should be pointed away from foundation walls.

Drainage Solutions. Surface water should not be allowed to pool near the foundation. Damage to the concrete, settlement and mold are some of the potential problems that can come up for buildings with poor drainage.

In addition to functional gutters and downspouts, some of the ways to direct water away from the building foundation are the installation of area drains, catch basins or trench drains. We can provide you with the right solutions to keep water where it belongs.

French Drains. French drains are used to attract, collect and divert underground water away from areas which could be damaged by the presence of water.

A typical French Drain is constructed by: Excavating a trench strategically placed and filling trench with ¾" gravel around a centered 3" PVC perforated pipe. Additionally, all gravel is to be wrapped with "Soil Separator" fabric to prevent soil particle accumulation in French Drain. French drains are also used behind retaining walls to relieve ground water pressure.

Sump Pumps. A sump pump may be homeowners' first line of defense against water accumulation at areas such as a basement or crawlspace where it can cause damage.

We offer different solutions, using different drainage components, such as: pop-up drain, channel drain, round grates drain, catch basin drain, atrium grates drain, different pipe drain, french drain, square grates drain, lawn scape outlet, etc.

Protect your Foundation, Lawn, and Landscape with a Drainage System!

French drains

Divert stormwater away from your building’s foundation and can be installed in any area on your property that collects water. French drains are constructed with a perforated pipe, then gravel and filter fabric surrounds the pipe, similar to foundation drain systems.

Rounded Grate

Are used in landscape areas, planter beds, window wells, or where debris like mulch and leaves might clog a flat grate. These grates are engineered to fit various sewer and drain pipes and fittings.

Pop-Up Emitters

Pop-Up drainage Emitters act as the discharge point of a drainage system, opening easily when needed to allow water to flow freely from the pipe and away from structural foundations. The patented spring-loaded cap opens with the hydrostatic pressure of water flowing through the drain pipe, then closes as the flow diminishes.

Atrium Grates

Are used in landscape areas, planter beds, window wells, or where debris like mulch and leaves might clog a flat grate.  Choose from our wide selection of round, square, poly, or brass atrium grates.

Catch Basins

Are connected to storm drainpipes. They are plastic or matel structures (either round or rectangular) with metal grates on top. Catch basins capture debris that could clog the pipes in a drain system.

Are a sustainable solution for stormwater runoff. Used independently or as part of a larger stormwater management system, Flo-Well units collect, retain, and discharge stormwater on-site, offering a gravel-free alternative to a traditional dry well. Units are modular and can be connected in series or stacked to meet a variety of project needs.

Trench drains / Channel Drain

Are used to capture stormwater flowing over a larger area like a driveway. Trench drains convey rainwater to the City’s storm drain system. These garden drains are best for areas such as:
•    Patios
•    Garden edges and Garden drainage
•    Courtyards
•    Pedestrian uses

Excess water damages foundations and basement walls

Underground Downspout Extension
guides water away from foundation by connecting downspout into an underground 4" PVC pipe and discharge to a Flo-Well

Excess water harms plants, water is pooling in planter

Catch Basin and Atrium Grates
Protects plants by removing excess water from plants by using a catch basin or an atrium grate and connecting into a Flo-Well

Water from driveway enters the garage

Channel Drain and Grates
Collects sheets of water moving across driveways and sidewalks and into a channel drain prior to entering garage.
